From the desk of
Reverend Patrick Hunt, DD

Timothy 2:15 (NIV)
15
Do your best to present yourself to God as one
approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who
correctly handles the word of truth.
The Word of God is just as
relevant in our modern world as it was on the day that it was
written.
Our challenge is to allow the original
intent of the word to significantly impact our daily lives so that
it affects the very direction we purpose to take.

About Our Minister, Reverend Patrick F. Hunt, DD
The ministry of Rev. Hunt was shaped by ministry that began on the streets of Chicago in 1969. The Chicago experience varied from working with the street gangs to pastoring churches in the Inner City. Being on the cutting edge of service to God has been the theme of ministry as it continued in Davenport, Iowa as a church planting missionary and working with juvenile court referrals.
That direction continued as Rev. Hunt came to the Cleveland area in 1979 with Youth for Christ. Again the work of service varied from working with street kids to pastoring in the local church. This eventually led to the call of God to the pastorate of Heritage Congregational Church in April, 2007.
Pastor Hunt completed his doctoral work in 2010 focusing on the area of Biblical Leadership as it applies to the life of the local church. God has called us to be servant-leaders who reflect the nature of Christ in all that we do. The doctorate was earned through studies completed at the Master’s International School of Divinity.
Following God's Will has been a satisfying adventure with many hills and
valleys.
It is good to know that you are in the center of God's Will.
