From the desk of Reverend Patrick Hunt

"A new era in the life and history of Heritage Congregational Church has begun with my call to serve as the new pastor.  The congregation has wholeheartedly placed their trust in me as
a leader and, as God is my strength and shield, I shall do all that I can to prove myself worthy of that trust."

Our Minister, Reverend Patrick F. Hunt

Rev. Hunt began his ministry in Chicago as a member of the Chicago Team Ministry, which served the Mennonite Church in Chicago.  His ministry continued in Davenport, Iowa with the Mennonite Church and subsequently with the Moody radio station WDLM and with Youth for Christ.

Patrick and his family then moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1979 where his ministry continued with the Greater Cleveland Youth For Christ, working both in the inter-city and in the suburbs.  While serving in that capacity, Patrick also served as the Associate Pastor of the People's Community Church of Berea, Ohio from 1980 until 2007.  After leaving youth of Christ in 1992, Pat went on to become the athletic director of Berea High School in Ohio.  He was in that position until his call was confirmed to be the pastor of Heritage Congregational Church where he was installed in March, 2007

Patrick has been married to Linda for 37 years.  They have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.  He  received his bachelor's degree from a combined study at Youngstown State University and Moody Bible Institute with additional studies at Liberty University.  He received his master's degree in biblical studies from the Master's International School of Divinity and is currently completing doctoral studies at the same institution.

Following God's Will has been a satisfying adventure with many hills and valleys.
It is good to know that you are in the center of God's Will.
